I�m seriously swamped over here, and what am I doing right now?

Oh yeah. We�ll call this a brain break.

I spent last night going through older entries of people�s diaries from when I was gone, and I can�t believe all of the drama I missed. I owe some friends some emails. It�s amazing what a few days away can do.

However, it looks like only Mickey225, Lokicat, and Autum-Kitty missed me.

Bastards.

Whatever.

And since I�m dropping names and getting you guys some additional hits, let me put up a linkster to Brettin. She wrote me some really nice emails while I was in Texas, and they really made my day. Thanks, B.

All right. So I�m working like a slave today. Yadda, yadda, yadda. What�s killing me about this is that I�m playing manager today, putting out little fires all around and not getting anything completely crossed off my list. I have six items on my to-do, and they all need to be done today. I seriously think that I�m going to stay here for much of the night to finish up.

Tomorrow being a big party night, I�m pretty sure this is the best strategy. If I work a bazillion hours tonight and work my regular eight tomorrow, taking off on NYDay won�t put any dent in my pocketbook. And since I�m in a major squirrel mode right now with the dough, getting full paychecks will be nice.

What are my plans for tomorrow night, you ask?

I�m hitting up a house party. Please don�t shout lame, okay? All of the club parties are packed, expensive, and in no way guaranteed to be fun.

Some friends-of-a-friend apparently have a big enough place and volunteered to host it if everyone RSVPs and brings $10 to throw into the pot. There will be a keg, food, some champagne for midnight, and many of my friends, so what�s not to like?

Happy called me a little while ago and asked what I was going to wear. I hadn�t given thought to what anyone else would be wearing, but I had already put my ghetto fabulous outfit together. I�m wearing this hot pink sequins skirt with a black mesh overlay, a black tube top with faux feathers, my really high heels, and my tiara to top things off. Oh yes. Let�s not forget the pornstar eye shadow.

As for the midnight kiss... I may be kissing the back of my hand. I may not. You�ll just have to wait and see what the report is on that. Since I�ve done this whole turn-around thing on the drunken make out, there might not be much to tell...

All right. I really need to get back to work. I�m taking a break at 7 to go workout, and then it�s right back to the grind. Whee!�
