Well, I sucked it up and officially put the Dallas Marathon behind me. This Sunday�s marathon in Madison was a cake walk, and never once did I exclaim to myself, �I�m never doing this again!� With a great course with trees lining a gravel path, a pleasant lakefront breeze, cooperative weather, and plenty of support staff along the way, I�d rate this as my favorite marathon besides my first Chicago one. Fun fact: Three of my marathons, including this one, have finished within 54 seconds of each other. Next week officially starts the 18-week Hal Higdon training program for Chicago. I�m now aiming to get a time that�s actually considered good instead of my usual acceptable. Here�s to hoping...�
